Yankee Stadium - Yankee Stadium is best known as the home to the baseball team, the New York Yankees. The stadium seats approximately 58,000 people and has hosted games since 1923.
Like many stadiums, the park was originally created for the New York Giants as well as various boxing events. The park is one of the most famous baseball parks in the United States simply because of its many World Series Championship teams.
Labeled "The House That Ruth Built" the saying refers to the legendary and iconic baseball player, Babe Buth.
In 2009, a new brand new Yankee Stadium is scheduled to be opened. Now is the time become part of Yankees history by purchasing your New York Yankees tickets before it's too late!

Shea Stadium - William A. Shea Municipal Stadium is currently known as home to the New York Mets. As one of the oldest ballparks in America, the park opened on April 17, 1964.
Shea Stadium used to be used for other NY sports teams such as the New York Yankees, New York Giants and New York Jets. The original design for the stadium had 90,000 seats with a possibility of adding a dome and more seats. Because of the stadium's structure they were unable to do so.
Unfortunately, the park's last game will be played on September 28, 2008 against the Florida Marlins. Plans for a brand new park called Citi Field are currently in the works for 2009. Don't miss out being part of Mets history by seeing one of the last games played there. Get your Mets tickets today! |
